Tappy needs a new set of lungs

       This Thanksgiving we would have liked to be thanking a donor family for the gift of a new lung but such is not the case.  However, we still have so much to be thankful for.  For one thing,  today (Sunday) Georgie and I celebrate our 41st anniversary of married life.  Its been a marvelous adventure and there’s not a day goes by that I don’t think about how blessed I’ve been to have snagged that woman. �
            When We look over the past year and see how kind and generous people have been to us it gives Thanksgiving a whole new meaning.  It also gives us an opportunity to once again  say a big thank you to all of you who have reached out to help us

        And this is a very special Thanksgiving for another reason.  Our best friends, Gord and Shirl MacLean,  arrived in Toronto on Friday to spend the weekend with us.  It is just like old times, a few drinks, a few laughs and the girls hammering the hell out of us at the card table.  

        Gord and Shirl’s son Scott also came to TO with them.  Scott’s  girlfriend, Nili, is attending  the University of Toronto.  Scott and Nili met in London, England where they have been teaching for the last several years.

           So Happy Thanksgiving everyone and a big thank you to all of you from Georgie and Me.  Enjoy your Holiday.
