The last two days in Toronto have been beautiful with a high of around 20. My kind of weather. It was so nice that for the first time in months I decided to go for a walk. We took a stroll in the Park that is right across the Street from our apartment on Rosehill. It was very nice.

Had a surprise visitor recently. Nancy Bona arrived in the city and called to say she was a courier lady with a parcel for us. Georgie and I were floored when Nancy appeared at the door. We had too brief a visit but it was so nice to see her. Nancy is a great friend and former neighbour.

Georgie and I don’t get out much but last evening was one of those rare occasions. We went out to supper with Pat and Patty Lacroix. Went to a little restaurant called “Quotes” and listened to some live jazz while we dined. Pat and Patty have been family friends for many years. They were friends of my Brother Mike and his wife Florence more than 40 years ago and we met them through them.
